Kubo x Air Jordan 15s Sell for a Total of $174,000

The Air Jordan 15 returned earlier this month to coincide with the animated film Kubo and the Two Strings. The shoe featured a redesigned upper which replaced its protruding tongue with a zip-up design.

While pairs were attainable through a giveaway, the primary method of copping the collaboration was though a charity auction held on eBay. A total of 220 pairs were auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting Matthew and Camila McConaughey's Just Keep Livin Foundation.

The auctions, which ended this week, brought in a grand total of $174,024, at an average $791 per pair. On the high end, a pair of size 10.5s autographed by Tinker Hatfield sold for $2,025, while a pair sold for as little as $500 on the low end in a size 7.5.
