Jonah Hill Thinks the Adidas Samba is the Best Sneaker in the World

By

Mid90s director Jonah Hill and star Sunny Suljic stopped by Stadium Goods in New York for the latest episode of Complex's Sneaker Shopping.

The duo browsed the shelves with host Joe La Puma and discussed the period piece-film that pays homage to the '90s skate scene. Hill explained his attention to detail when it came to choosing specific clothing for the film which included skate shoes from Adidas. When discussing the sneakers, Hill professed his love for the Samba.

"I wore Sambas every day growing up, I skated Sambas, I rock them now. To me the silhouette of the Samba is like the illest shoe ever," said Hill. He even picked up an all-white pair at the end of the episode calling them the "best shoe in the world."

The actor/director also mentioned a potential upcoming project with the brand—possibly the sneaker he teased on Instagram and chatted about on a recent episode of the Failing Upwards podcast.

Check out the rest of the interview in the video above to hear the pair talk about their love of Adidas, being your own stylist, Sunny's amateur status with the Adidas skate team, and what they ended up going home with.
