A fan-favorite Air Jordan retro making its return, three-way Nike collab, and oversized Adidas highlight this week’s sneaker release calendar. 

The first big release of the week takes place Tuesday morning with the return of the Jeremy Scott x Adidas Forum Wings 1.0 “Money.” The loud option will be followed up on Thursday by the Kerwin Frost x Adidas Superstuffed and “Starfish” Air Jordan 1 Low. A bulk of this week’s offerings arrive on Friday including the Pharrell x Adidas Human Race Sichona, Sacai x Fragment x Nike LDWaffle, and “Headin’ Home” Concepts x New Balance 57/40. Things wrap up on Saturday with a new Yeezy Boost 350 V2 colorway and what is surely the highlight for many, the first retro release of 2006’s “Lightning” Air Jordan 4.

What You Need to Know: Jeremy Scott and Adidas are rekindling their storied partnership with the return of the sneaker that started it all back in 2003. Like the name suggests, the Forum Wings “Money” remixes the retro high-top with an all-over money print upper, green Three Stripes on the medial side, and a large wing extending over the lateral portion of the upper. Rather than a former president, each dollar is adorned with the face of the popular designer.

What You Need to Know: Long after his partnership with the brand was first announced back in January 2020, Kerwin Frost is finally releasing his first footwear collaboration with Adidas: the Superstuffed. At first glance, the sneakers look identical to a classic white and black Adidas Superstar. However, to match Frost’s unique personal style, the pairs are actually designed to appear five sizes bigger than your actual shoe size through the use of additional inner padding.

What You Need to Know: A “Shattered Backboard”-esque colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low arrives this Thursday. The pair featuere a white leather upper with bright orange overlays. A black Swoosh, Wings logo on the heel tab, and OG “Nike Air” tongue tag complete the familiar look.

What You Need to Know: The latest chapter of Cardi B’s ongoing partnership with Reebok features four new colorways of her redesigned Classic Leather. Tonal army green, rose pink, burgundy, and white color schemes with subtle gold branding hits are all up for grabs. Cardi’s special version of the Classic Leather features details like a stacked lug sole, suede overlays, and pull tabs added to the tongue and heel.

What You Need to Know: Pharrell’s newest Adidas silhouette, the Human Race Sichona, is hitting stores in a royal blue color scheme this Friday. The model features a Primeknit upper, mid-cut elastic collar, and a molded tonal midsole. Details include hiker-esque laces, red “Humanrace” branding stamped on each lateral side panel, and a rubber Human Race triangle jutting out from the heel.

What You Need to Know: WNBA legend Diana Taurasi has another special colorway of the LeBron 18 releasing this week. This time, fans will be treated to the “GOAT Vision” colorway featuring a faint green knit upper, newspaper-inspired heel and toe pattern that is composed of some of her accolades, a translucent green heel counter, Taurasi’s logo on each tongue, and bright orange laces.

What You Need to Know: Another “Laser” Air Max 90 is slated to release on Friday morning. The pair features a mahogany leather upper that has been laser etched with patterns to resemble the aging of wood, as well as the signature paneling of the Air Max 90. The premium design is completed with a matching outsole, cream midsole, and leather liner.

What You Need to Know: The Air Huarache continues its impressive retro run this year with the return of another OG colorway. The “Aquatone” color scheme features a white neoprene and leather upper with an aqua and purple bootie. A black rubber heel band and Huarache logo stamped on the tongue complete this version of the popular ‘90s runner.

What You Need to Know: Sacai’s fan-favorite LDWAffle returns for a new three-way collab with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment. The “Blackened Blue” colorway features a navy blue mesh upper with tonal suede overlays and white detailing. True to the original, this pair maintains its stacked look with dual tongues, Swooshes, overlays, and soles. This pair also marks the collab with “The Classic/Fragment : sacai” written on the lateral area of each midsole. Fragment’s signature lightning bolts logo also appear on one of the tongue tags as well.

What You Need to Know: Concepts once again takes inspiration from Babe Ruth and his infamous move from the Boston Red Sox to New York Yankees that kicked off the “Curse of the Bambino” for one of its New Balance collaborations. Dubbed the “Headin’ Home” 57/40, this pair is a nod to the 1920 silent film by the same name that documented the life of Ruth. The pair’s multi-toned orange colorway is drawn from the film’s posters.

What You Need to Know: Casablanca has been given the opportunity to debut another new New Balance silhouette. This time, Charaf Tajer’s label will introduce the world to the XC-72. The silhouette is reminiscent of the 327 with its large “N” branding and lifestyle design. It is set apart with its more rugged outsole inspired by the tire tread of F1 race cars. Two white-based colorways will be available that each feature perforated leather uppers. One features green and orange detailing that has become a signature color palette of Casablanca, while the other opts for a Ferrari-esque red and yellow combination that further leans into the F1 inspiration.

What You Need to Know: The long-awaited return of 2006’s “Lightning” Air Jordan 4 is finally happening this Saturday. The pairs stays true to the original with a yellow nubuck upper, black detailing on the mesh netting and tongue tag, and grey hits on the straps and outsole.

What You Need to Know: The latest colorway of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 changes when exposed to sunlight. The shoe sports a cream Primeknit upper that becomes pink when UV light hits. Additionally, the semi-translucent side stripe takes on an orangey tone when lit. The upper sits atop a milky sole.
